Seal Beach 5 K Race April 5 2008

Yay I did it! My first race since I started running. I ran a 5K this past weekend. I have been dragging Dave out running with me as well (he is such a loving and supportive husband) We ran the Seal Beach 5K together. I know its only 3.1 miles but I could not have done it a year ago. Luckily My Mom and Dad were also out visiting, so they got to join in the fun and take pictures! Boy were they shocked when they walked out to the finish line (about a block from our apt.) and saw over 6000 runners and all their friends and family not exactly what they expected.

It was so nice to have Mom and Mark at the race! We love when they visit!

I'm almost there, About 10 Feet from the finish line! It felt great and I still had energy left I'm definitley doing the 10K next time!

I think Daves happy to be done, I don't think he realizes I'm going to make him train for a half marathon :)

West Palm Beach Fun!

I was able to go to Florida in March to visit my Grandparents and Aunt. Mom, Mark, Becca and Dan were also able to join us. The weather was beautiful as usual. We had a great time. We missed Dave being there (He could't take off from work)!

We went to a great Green market near aunt Sharons office it was great, Mom and Aunt Sharon got some great veggies for dinner.

New Years Eve 2007!!!

This year we spent New years at Le Chateau a great frech restaraunt in New York. We were able to celebrate with my parents, Ben and his girlfriend Liz and her parents. We had so much fun dancing and eating great food. Unfortunatley Dave and I had a 6 AM flight the next morning so we went back to his parents, I slept for an hour he stayed up and we headed to the airport at 3:30 AM. Luckily we were upgraded to first class for the flights back, I love first class!!!!!!!!!

San Fransisco

In November 07 Dave and I were able to fly up and spend the weekend with my parents in San Fransisco (Mark had a business trip and My Mom came along for fun). We had such a nice time, we did all the fun sight seeing including Alcatraz and walked everywhere.
