Tiffany and Mikes Wedding September 13 2008

Dave and i traveled back yet again this year for a wedding! We love seeing family and friends and celebrating such happy occasions. This time my cousin Tiffany got married!
Her husband grew up in Deleware and since Tiffany and her family like it there they decided to have the wedding in Rehobeth Beach Deleware. My brother Ben always said that if Mccain wants to win the election he needs to start trucking people in to Deleware and then they will never vote for Biden. I could not understand his frustration with the state until I had the chance to visit. First of all there are no aiports close that you can fly into without owning your own plane, unfortunatley for Dave and I the employee discount at Boeing just isn't big enough!
Second of all it takes 2 and 1/2 hours to drive there from D.C. looking on a map you would think alot less, but there are no main roads so you are driving most of the way on local roads that are 15 MPH. It was crazy!
3rd of all its so small how can it take 2 and 1/2 hours to drive to anywhere in Delware. I'll get off my soapbox now!
It was a really great wedding we were all able to make it which was really nice. Our family now makes up an entire table, I don't know whats going to happen when we start having kids. We spent most of our time swimming in the ocean and shopping at the really great outlets near by. It was so fun to ride the waves and swim in the ocean ( its to cold in California)!

Here is the Happy couple taking pictures at the golf course they were married at. Its was beautiful the flowers everywhere were amazing.

Johnstown, PA

My cousin Tina got married last weekend so the family went back to Johnstown, PA for the big event. Johnstown is in western PA and is 2 hours from any major airport. I love going back there, its a small town where my Mom and her parents grew up and that my great grandfather helped to build. Alot of People know Johnstown because of the "great flood" That happened in the late 1800's it wiped out the entore town in less then an hour.

We got to see our family which is always wonderful and also got to see the 2 houses that my grandfather built. We also got to ride on the" steepest vehicular incline plane". It was built after the flood to try and help people evacuate up the hill. We were also fortunate enough that the wedding fell on the weekend of Folkfest, so we were able to hang out downtown and enjoy the festivites.

Some of us in front of the candy store. When we were little everything in the candy store was a penny so we loved going to Johnsotwn. The same owner still owns it but the place was mostly empty it was kind of sad. It was nice to see that it was still there.

Here are as bunch of us riding the incline plane. Cathy on the right (who's on the phone) grew up in Johnstown but was affraid of heights so she never went on it before. (She's on the phone tellin her husband that she actually went on)

My big sister got Married on July 4th so I flew hope a week before to help out with everything (Dave came a couple days before). My Dad likes to document everything so here is our exciting week (minus a few dramatic moments)
We would usually get woken up in the morning by our Dad taking a picture of us!

Becca was not quite as easily woken, it usually took the sweet smell of bacon cooking in the morning, HAHA

Then we would have Spunky licking you any chance he got, it gets old really fast!

Then we would take our Daily trip to Costco, what is more fun then hanging out at costco!!!
